The purpose of the Junior Welfare League is to "give aid to less fortunate citizens of our community and to work in harmony with the established civic, professional and welfare organizations."

Junior Welfare League was founded in 1930, during the Great Depression, as a community service organization. Today we've grown to maintain two successful businesses - Return Engagement Consignment Store and our Cookbook Office. The JWL Cookbook Office sells our fabulous cookbooks Stir Ups and Cooking By the Boot Straps. Both cookbooks offer tried and true family recipes from the plains of Oklahoma.

Watch this site for our featured "Recipe of the Month." We look forward to sharing our family favorites with you!
