Recipe of the Month
Pepperoni Calzone

This recipe from Boot Straps is sure to score points with hungry sports fans. It will be a game-day pleaser. Enjoy!!!!!

Pepperoni Calzone

½ cup grated Parmesan ¼ tsp. oregano 1 pkg. sliced pepperoni
cheese 1/8 tsp. pepper 4 oz. provolone cheese,
1 egg, beaten 1 loaf frozen bread dough, shredded
½ tsp. parsley flakes thawed Butter to taste
¼ tsp. garlic salt

Combine the Parmesan cheese, egg, parsley flakes, garlic salt, oregano and pepper in a bowl and mix well. Pat the bread dough into a rectangle on a greased baking sheet. Spread the Parmesan cheese mixture over the top of the dough to the edges. Sprinkle with the pepperoni and provolone cheese. Roll as for a jelly roll.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes, covering if needed during the last 10 minutes of baking to prevent over browning. Brush with butter. Slice and serve. You may microwave the pepperoni for a short amount of time and pat with a paper towel to help remove excess fat.
